It's World Homeopathy Awareness Week

Events will take place in more than 45 countries around the world. The theme for 2010 is "Homeopathy and Mental well-being."

Ooh! A stone arch with a balancing black rock! This week marks the 255th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the creator of the alternative medicine practice called homeopathy, and like the WHAO, I’m eager to do my small part to help make more people aware of homeopathy.

Now, I am fully aware that my blog is not one of the most well-known and that I get only a few thousand visitors each month, but I also understand that is exactly why this blog post packs such a homeopathic punch.  You see, with homeopathy, dilution is the key to power.  Wikipedia nicely sums up how it works...

Homeopathic remedies are prepared by serial dilution with shaking by forceful striking, which homeopaths term "succussion," after each dilution under the assumption that this increases the effect of the treatment. Homeopaths call this process "potentization". Dilution often continues until none of the original substance remains.

So, by diluting my blog visitors into the hundreds of millions of people that read blogs every day, the potentization of this very blog post is enormous.

Of course, there are other very good blogs and web sites out there raising homeopathy awareness, but unfortunately their much higher visitor traffic means a much lower potentization and therefore, I’m afraid, reduced effectiveness.  Still, despite lower potentization, I strongly encourage you to visit these very excellent homeopathy awareness resources:

RE: It's World Homeopathy Awareness Week

I *love* the "it doesn't" website!  So true, so true...I understand that people don't want to put lots of chemicals into their body but...they do work!! I have something that requires medication and I get tired of (well meaning) people saying that I should try herbs and crap.  Sorry but no...I value my life and would like to keep it :)
